Rose Cherub * Stella De Oro
There aren't many nicely shaped four inch rose flowers blooming with the earlier golds and yellows; in fact, this is the only one I know of. It shares with Three Seasons the fault of being a nocturnal that loses its substance in the afternoon, more seriously in hot, humid weather. It is a valuable breeder for earliness, for rebloom, for pink and for melon and again, with one parent being Stella I can no longer be a bit surprised by a well-branched scape with a mere 24 buds.
